When it works, it works just fine. Been having intermittent connection issues as of late. Update: app continues to stop working with my television. When I disconnect the TV from the app and try to type in the ip address manually, it tells me that there is no Roku device with that IP address even though I used the same address to connect it in the first place 07-29-23 *update* App just stopped working. Will not connect manually to TV even though they are both on the same WiFi network.

If you have a Hisense Roku TV, don't bother trying. The app may well be OK but I have two Hisense Roku tv's and it connects to neither of them. It's possibly not the app though - the hisense Roku TV is probably the worst combination of smart TV that is on the market. Mirrorcast doesn't work. No Roku TV app works. No movie plays via a USB stick. Dire. Edit: tried again Sept 23 - still rubbish

I couldn't get it to work and the ads were pretty inconvenient. I ended up having to navigate away from my browser opening up aggressive sites after an ad flash while I wasn't paying attention to the application. The TV started auto closing channels and forcing me to the main menu, as well. Might be an unrelated issue, but it only started happening when I tried this program.

I like the features. Why so many ads. They just pop up at anytime and you wind up going to sites without knowing you had click on the ad. I know there's an ad free version at a reasonable price. I have tried that with other apps and waisted money to get nothing. I would give more stars but these ads are too much.

Well I've been waiting for 4 hours waiting to use it and all I get is a blank screen. And now it won't allow me to answer the Tell us more optional it won't allow me. Just that circle swirling are trying to do it. My phone is not that slow. And the blank screen has been going on for days now. I'm going to find another app. I can't even send you my response

I paid for the ad-free version... & it worked wonderfully without any ads for about a month.. up until a few days ago.. & now, out the blue, I'm getting ads all over again every time i open the app.. EVEN THOUGH I'VE PAID FOR THE AD-FREE VERSION!!!!! Yo what on God's earth is going on here???! This is TERRIBLE!!!

If I could put zero i would. Ads pop up about every 10 pushes. Some are long, and often u try to x out but it loads playstore. Worse yet it invades your entire phone sending pop-ups on every app or page u open, even your camera, fb, texting etc. It often jams the phone and causes u to lose everything u typed. Freaking worst experience ever. Avoid at all costs

the sudden break for a commercial thing is a little overboard. nothing like stopping you from finding a channel with a commercial break. it doesn't happen on Apple devices. fyi. But if you're in a pinch....welcome to... "the struggle" 😆 it does the job. just may need to take a commercial break while typing in that movie you're looking for.
