A part of me absolutely adores how this game is built, as the unit variety lends itself to all kinds of strategies and dumb gimmicks. However, because unit unlock progression is largely based on performance against other players in blind matches, and that progression can be lost if you lose a game, it can make for an incredibly frustrating experience if you wind up losing repeatedly through no real fault of your own.

Honestly, it's a cool game. Units are neat. It's a good foundation. But, the number of ads is absurd, and even worse, they have an auto battle feature, which is a good idea in a game like this. Unfortunately, this feature is entirely broken due to ever 2-3 auto scrolls you "find a shipment", yippee right? Nope, shipments are just moreeeee ads to spend money, and worse, it doesn't auto battle past, so essentially, you can auto battle 2 battles, then you have to manually click to continue. Greedyy

It is a great game at its core. Strategy is the focus and it's really fun. The problem arises after about 2 hours of gameplay and the game becomes really unbalanced. There are troops that if you dont use you will get absolutely destroyed. The wagons take a minimum of 4 hours to open so you're out of luck for catching up to the people with the better troops. The game doesnt focus on strategy at this point and it becomes pay to win. It breaks my heart because I wanted to love this game so bad :(

MOST AGGRAVATING GAME YOU'LL EVER PLAY!!! I don't ever get mad at games because it's just a game but as you level up and start getting ahead in this game it obviously and when I say obviously I mean they're absolutely 100%, no way around it, purposely making you lose so you don't level up too fast. For example, multiple times I have been down to like 5 archers when the enemy has 1 or 2 who have the plague effect on them and somehow they still win. It's rigged af and I expect XP compensation fr.

Total cash grab. Not worth investing time or money. I enjoyed the beginning of the game. Even bought the battle . But after learning the battle only lasts for 8 days. And cost me 9 dollars. It was a waste. The game ramps you up, and gets you invested. Then you realize you need to spend money to buy gold to upgrade your troops to be competitive. You will still loose every time you bump into someone who spent real money.

The more I play the more pay to win it is. The troops and the combat is very well done and the art style is great. I know the developers need to make money to themselves and to make the game better but the pay to win aspect is much to intrusive to progressing in the game after a point without just straight up waiting weeks for the same amount of resources as a $20 pack. I will keep the game and continue to play it with the hope that it changes in some regard or more content is added.

Fun to play, and I like that there aren't cool downs or ads to limit how long I can play in one go. I like the Journey mode more than the random PVP matches, since I can plan out what my army looks like based on what I'm going up against, and also bc the PVP matches are either incredibly easy or frustratingly hard. I also wish the Spider Tower thing had an alternative design without spiders, because I'm horribly arachnophobic and it's terrifying whenever I see swarms of spiders like that.

Not a bad idle game with an interesting enough formula. Completely put off by (increasingly better?) pay to win features, which they REALLY want you to go for unless you dont mind having to leave this game running for literal hours upon hours before even being aloud to explore more combinations, especially the further you get into it. Basically very limited pretty early on unless your willing to pay or kill your battery =/
