The game is not great. The RNG can be frustrating, especially when you're blind to the odds. It's also too easy to hit the auto-populate button for reinforcements. The achievements and goals are set to unreasonably and arbitrarily high amounts- clearly these numbers weren't playtested, and it makes the experience DUMB. Finally, the game blatantly cheats on the master difficulty, which makes it distinctly not fun. One star, do not get.

Fun game, minimal ads. Good strategy game to kill time with. Lowered a star for the AI being poor and and game being very unfair on the most advanced AI. It is impossible to win with the 2 or 3 highest AI. The math seems way off how they plow thru so fast. I think the points system is faulted. Sometimes my 2 or 3 spot cannot get past a 1 or 2 spot; I don't understand their math.

Cheating "Master" AI are completely unfair to face. They just use their stat advantage and rush your position everytime. Trying to farm or battle them simply doesn't work unless the map is perfect, and occasionally they win trades by gambling. You almost had the perfect competitive game and ruined it with artificial difficulty. Same reasons I stopped playing years ago.

Love it. Only I wish there was more customization. (Map editor site won't load, More than 4 AI's, change how AI's decide to unionize, XXXL map, XXXXL map?) On the note of the AI's- Even against 4 "Masters", with a lucky spawn and map structure; its unfortunately not much of a challenge. They're just not that smart. Every match goes one of two ways- Impossible to win/Easy victory. I'd pay for a version if there were changes like this.

I love this game, lot of time spent doing tournaments and such. Some key changes I would love to see though. 1. Green and Blue are entirely too close in color, and it's hard to make out the difference. Change that for sure. 2. Any time I am in a tournament round with only a single other opponent, may as well quit. will win as they go second and have more starting units than you do. They always push right too the player as well. 3. Seems like a bit of a balance issue everywhere....

This review would be much higher if the AI didn't cheat. It's a solid tactical game. But the AI often resorts to either redistribution of tokens (an ability unavailable to human players) or outright jobing of the competitive algorithms. (18 battle wins in a row at 25% chance to win is astronomically unlikely) and it happens often enough that it's abundantly clear the AI sometimes determines a board is "unwinnable" by it's human competitor. That's just not fun.

Problems I've noticed, the AI loves to gang up on you, even when being overwhelmed by other AI. They sometimes perform abnormally well with their attacks and break through defenses easily. Then, finally, the maps lack real variety. They love to have players start next to each other. The maps are almost always "big open area" so strategy is basically almost always charge opponents and overwhelm them ASAP. Even big maps with side areas usually have those spawn away from you. Fun for a bit tho

I love this game and the strategy behind it, when it works. But during tournaments I get to the point of wanting to delete this game, when every single time the enemy manages to somehow overwhelm my points that have higher numbers then they do, and then when I try to take back what I lost, still with higher numbers, 9/10 I lose my bigger force and still don't manage to take it back, even when the enemy constantly wins against high number forces, and magically breaks through where I have plenty.
