Long time fan of the app, especially for its smart playlist feature. Real problem lately with extended play sessions just stopping, though. I've tinkered with my system settings for allowing the app to run in the background and use battery and it's not helping. Main channel even for Pro is just a forum where devs seem to never respond. Starting to feel like an abandoned or at least neglected app. // And now the audio is clipping and distorting with this app only. Definitely problems.

I've used this app awhile but I mean I've had no when I've asked for it from them I paid for the app and I would look elsewhere every time you hook up headphones or speakers via Bluetooth this thing intercepts and all the sudden is blasting when you don't want to use this particular app. And there's no way in settings to adjust that. Just piss poor they could care less about their s they just want to take over your phone and they will if you let them. Choose wisely..not..

PLAYBACK STOPS. UNUSABLE. I used to use this app all the time, bought but it's not usable any more: playback keeps stopping, over & over & over again. And this is AFTER confirming settings to "keep audio focus", high priority, etc. Been like this for couple years now. My conclusion is that development has essentially ceased. Now using ** VLC for ANDROID: FREE, open Source, can adjust audio & video playback speed g it keeps playing.

I've tried many music player apps over the years but I always come back to this one. It has a ton of functionality, runs perfectly, has stuff I've not seen anywhere else, comes with a free optional DSP pack, well worth the 5€. So good that i paid the price twice (after moving Google s) Edit: I see some people complaining about issues with the app after updating. I've not encountered any of these issues on any devices (currently using devices on Android 8, 12 and 14, from multiple brands)

Since moving to Google Pixel 7 Pro (Android 13), the app became unstable. It erased all the visual data I had stored in my backup (album and artist pictures). Moreover, it keeps resetting the library settings, adding files from everywhere on the phone, and not from just the music library I set. The lock screen widget is not connected to the Android one, so I basically have to unlock my phone twice. The app was good, but now it is super annoying to use.

I'd say avoid this app as there are free players that don't have this issue. The menu finder is also not intuitive and its not hard creating a simple interface for music surely! Having got a new phone (not Samsung) I needed a music playing app and was swayed by reviews of this one. Trial version seemed fine, so purchased full version. App tends to just freeze and become unresponsive at any given moment, so have to close app down and restart.

I was a big fan of this app for years but it's borderline unusable now as it no longer reads album tags nor does it allow me to set them in the app. Also randomly crashes and stops playing despite me turning off battery optimization for the app. Moved to GoneMad music player and it's essentially a far better version of this app. its a real shame how buggy this app has become because I love the UI. But when it can't even do it's most basic function, a pretty face isn't going to save it.

I am a long time . The app has recently (within the past couple of months) had some inexcusable regressions. A looped playlist will stop playing music, even though the player shows a track playing for many hours. I've started to see other types of bugs too, like the wrong track playing after a new track has been selected. Disappointing!
