Setup is confusing and complicated. App keeps telling me to come back in 24 hours to sign in. Terrible. Please give more time to enter security codes sent by SMS...Why do you send alerts and emails stating that I have installed it on the owner profile on my child's phone and advising me to uninstall, which I did 3 times, getting locked out for 24 hours on each occasion? If I ignore these incorrect alerts from Norton everything works fine... Apart from the setup process, the app seems quite good.

This was great for several years but in the past 6 months it's unusable. It simply doesn't function with the lock controls. Apps in popup view by the protections and it frequently refuses to unlock daughter's handset. I will not be renewing the subscription. Massive disappointment and should be avoided.

The location feature is more or less useless. It doesn't update for hours, even on a cell phone with good signal and hitting "locate now" repeatedly. It also, for some reason, does not the device chosen for location no matter how many times you select it options. Many features are limited or not available on all operating systems.

The app does not document everything that is being looked up, between doing search tests for myself and looking at search history, I see many search logs missing from my side of the app. Also, the location portion of the app is a joke. It will only update maybe half of the time (if I'm lucky). I have tried ing the company about these issues through their 24 hour help and it just sends me to an AI program that can not answer my questions or help me in any way.

I have tried TONS of apps. This is one of the best (paired with Life 360). I love the instant lock feature, but it doesn't work if the child's phone is off so I have to check that first (Life 360 shows battery). I gave up on using this app for location awhile ago. My biggest complaint however is the inability to allow text to emergency s while the phone is locked. They can call emergency s, but not text. Very inconvenient when they are grounded for a week.

Basically, it's good. I can set a general time limit, like the hours in a day that apps can be used, and then set the actual time limit for usage, like 2 hours. One problem is that sometimes it shows that my child exceeded the alloted time when it wasn't used at all that day. One big downfall is that it doesn't allow an exception rule to choose an app to be open even when the alloted time is over, like a music streaming app. There needs to be an exception rule.

I liked this app when I first got it. But my son has apparently figured out that if he taps his phone enough when it's locked that it will glitch and let him back on. Also, we've had issues on and off where I unlock apps or remove time limits, but he still can't access. Most of the time, he has to restart his phone several times before he's able to get back in. Norton really needs to take a closer look at fixing these glitches

I like the app experience, it's friendly. The price is better than many others on the market. The deal breaker for me is the lack of app level exceptions for phone downtime. I'd like to allow limited access after hours, during school, church, etc. For now, there is only All or Nothing. School time only allows control of websites, not apps required for school.
