Best app I've found to learn Malayalam. As a native English speaker its very helpful for conversational Malayalam. With Translation and Transliteration as well as pronunciation. It would be nice to have the ability to slow down the audio though. Just for a more accurate pronunciation of the word per syllable. Also No ads is fantastic

1 ⭐ The app still doesn't work offline. And now they have increased the price for features 4 times the previous amount !!! Why?!? The app doesn't work without an internet connection. Also it losses all the progress in a task if the internet refreshes or stops for few minutes. The app turns out to be useless when there is no internet

This app is great , friendly , best for learning indian languages. Subscription is little bit costly. It will be great if you lower the amount or charge for a particular language can also make it affordable....

Learning methods & contents are fine but the app should be smoother & fatser to use to make more friendly

Very intuitive, and is in fact easier and faster to learn a language than other similar apps. The monthly subscription fee is quite high though, and can be made affordable by providing a single language subscription . Although the current license model might be simpler, but for a majority of us, we learn one language at a time. This will also let the sales put a foot in the door to segments who find the app too expensive.

Its a very easy to use app. The transition from an english speaker to speaking in malyalam is fairly easy through the app. But i cant directly skip to a topic of my choice. I have to go through the entire lesson to get to the topic of my choice. Please add a feature where we can choose topics within specific lessons, it helps in revisiting the phrases that one might want to try speaking again.

Dear Lingo team, I am very happy to say that you are definitely the best regional language tutor. I have tried different Indian apps, undoubtedly this is the best. Though, I have one issue. Why don't we have script practice in Malayam? We have script tutor for Kannada. It will be amazing if you could add that. Also, since I have been learning Japanese since the last 911days on Duolingo, I have another suggestion as well. Why don't we add 'Freeze streak' feature like the one in Duolingo Ty :)

I just started to use this app. (20 min ago). Completed like 3-4 categories, like foods, introduction etc. I would say this app really helps to revise some of the basics. I started learning Malayalam (with a teacher who is a Malayalee) a couples of months back and this app covers a lot of the things that I ve already studied. Which is a good sign, because there is a common ground in different learning approaches, with the help of a teacher and the app.
