App has a loophole that a few unscrupulous drivers will seek to exploit. A 3m ETA was still 3m after 25m. No reply to my msgs, & got a "mobile no is unavailable" msg when I called. So I wanted to cancel and that was when I realised what the driver was up to. I have to pay a $5.95 penalty to him if I cancel after 3m of getting a ride, to compensate him for his time. He had no intention of picking me up. So I just waited & he cancelled himself in the end. Won't use ryde again until this is fixed

Ride is not able to make a review for cancelled trip!!! A Driver is keep rounding around his starting location without approaching to pickup point for 15-20 minutes, and no reply my messages. Force me to make cancellation!!! This not about cancellation fee waiver by giving a voucher, this is to raise Review on those unprofession driver!!! For the waiver voucher given, it is not able to use if the fare is higher than the wallet balance, very inconvenience for cards ! unless I topup it!!

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Absolutely horrible app with unethical practices. App does not show that you are still searching for a driver when you tab out and back in the app. Does not send notifications when a driver has been found, only does so when driver is about to reach. When you want to cancel by then it's already too late and they charge a $6(!) cancellation fee. ed and they refused to issue a refund directly to my bank . Stay far away from this garbage

Riders get penalised for cancellation when drivers get lost and worse still are unresponsive, that is if you can get a driver at all. Terrible service philosophy. Also, good effort for fake reviews. 💯

Can't even load recently using WIFI. Really terrible after each update. If I'm using WIFI to make booking from second device, does that mean i can't even open the app at all? That's ridiculous.

Love the drivers I get, and the competitive pricing, but the number of mind-numbingly inane quips and "jokes" I get in a day is INSANE. Guys. Nobody wants a transport app blasting their phones with garbage every other hour. I get more promotional nonsense from RYDE in a day than I get from Grab in a week. It's ridiculous. I can't even turn them off in the app. Project manager who greenlit this feature, why don't you focus on improving the CTA UI instead? Or optimise it for larger screens? 🙄

One of the cheapest ride-hailing app but this morning, I'm not sure what's wrong with the in-app map, my pickup place (punggol) shown to be at yishun and driver arrived at yishun to pick me up.

Cancellation policy is atrocious. Driver matched with 9 mins to reach and was not moving for 5 mins. Cancelled and was charged $6 even though I clicked on "Cancel and book again" instead of "Pay to cancel". Lousy and rubbish UI. Daylight robbery!
