Have played this game for a couple of years. Loved it. Didn't mind spending money occasionally. The new Treasure Hunt is a deliberate MONEY GRAB! I spent $10 dollars when it first appeared to unlock the locked items. Then found out that it was only for the first section. Now most of the hard earned shovels uncover "locked" prizes that you have to pay to get. Add to that real useful rewards in the events are replaced with shovels. REALLY BAD MOVE BY THE DEVELOPERS!

Updated response to developer: I never mentioned ads. It takes too long to get through levels or get additional workers. Ads have nothing to do with it. 30 minutes to break one rock with 12 more to go and 2 sections per level makes the game boring and slow. Original review: I love the game but it takes way too long to get money and getting additional guys cost a lot. So it gets really boring. It's has taken 2 days to get to level 12. It's a lot of just waiting.

I quite like this game. It's the best idle merger game I've played thus far. The events are nice and possible to rank highly without spending. You can watch commercials for extra stuff, but they don't force you into them every 30 seconds. I did end up investing in the commercial free version, but I had been playing a number of weeks at that point and felt like I would continue to play for the foreseeable future.

Too many ads. To frequent. Ads are too long. Ads are three parts. Can't skip. Can only pause. There are a few days when the ads were only like 20 seconds. And still happens sometimes. So there are a bunch of ads AND in-app purchases. But this is addictive. I play this way too much. And also have spent more $ than I wanted to. So seems like I would really like it. I don't even know why I continue to play when the ads really annoy me. Giving it 3 stars but, my rating should prob be 4 stars.

So I'm SEVERAL levels in and I'm really disappointed, as what I'm playing is NOTHING like what any ads I've seen for it. I was looking to drive around a rig to drag coins into/through a gate to multiply them and then use those to unlock a bigger gate. The other mining was automated in the ads and all I had to do was drive over to it. It's not a terrible game, it's just not what I was promised through WELL over a year of ads, and looking at dev responses has doused any desire to play this.

Have You Watched Paint Drying? I came back to the game after an ad reminded me it was here. I came back because of the parts I liked and discovered that developers have added the little mini game so that it looked a bit like the ad. Oh, but I was hoping for more. It is the SLOWEST game in the universe. You can merge goblins for more mining strength, but you don't keep that strength from level to level. Advancing becomes more challenging, but you start at a weak beginning every new level.

Fun at first, until you see the pattern and recognize it for the money hungry game that it is. Sure, the regular levels can be played for free, just takes lightyears to advance this way. The events, however, where majority of your resources come from for the regular campaign, are grossly controlled by spending. Forget ranking, they can't even be completed for free.

Good idle game with decent graphics, earn coins, goblins, and extras. But don't expect good customer service when there is an issue. I had paid for no ads and it worked great until one day all my progress was gone and the ads returned. I reached out to customer service they replied right away saying they would review the problem. After a week with any changes I quit playing. I checked again after three weeks and I still see ads and no response from customer service.
