How to see the International Space Station in your sky tonight?
Would you like to see the Earth from the International Space Station as astronauts see it? It is now possible to see Earth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through the live transmission of the Space Station's cameras.

If you are a lover of space or astronomy, you will like ISS onLive.

ISS onLive offers you ISS live, the transmission of images of the Earth from the International Space Station by Nasa. You will also be able to experience the day-to-day life of astronauts watching them work inside the ISS.

This application integrates Google Maps to track the orbit of the ISS at all times and allows you to configure parameters such as the choice of different types of maps, satellite or terrain. It also shows telemetry information (speed, altitude, longitude, latitude), as well as the area of the country where the ISS is located. It also has a day/night map of the land with the limits of visibility from the ISS and the .
In the drawing of the orbits, the visible steps of the ISS are shown in yellow. All this can be customized from the configuration menu of the application.

It has also been added to the Google Maps map the feature of "Map of clouds in the world" in Real Time. You will be able to add to the Google Maps map an extra layer for the visualization of the cloud map of the whole world. In this way you will be able to know the visibility status of the area of the Earth through which the ISS es and observe it through the HD cameras of the ISS.

Live video transmissions available:

1.- ISS CAM 1 HD: provides HD High Definition images from our planet Earth.

2.- ISS CAM 2: provides views of our planet Earth and on-board cameras of the ISS Live as well as experiments, tests or maintenance and communications with the Nasa.

3.- Nasa TV Channel: NASA (National Aeronautics and Space istration) Television Service. You can watch STEM programs and documentaries.

4.- Nasa TV Media Channel: A secondary Nasa tv channel.

5.- ESA TV: European Space Agency Live channel. With Science and Exploration programming and documentaries.

And eventual channels like:

✓ SpaceX Live Transmissions: SpaceX Crew Dragon launch events.

✓ Roscosmos TV: live when there is a Russian spacewalk.

You can also watch these channels live on your TV using Google Cast.


Would you like to see the International Space Station?
ISS on Live will inform you of the day and time of the International Space Station's visible night age. Through a configurable alert you will be able to receive notifications of the following events:

✓ Sunrise and sunset at ISS.

✓ Visible over your region and Spot the Station: through the com tool you will be able to know the exact place in the sky where the ISS will be visible to the naked eye and for how long.

✓ Day : observe your country through the live retransmission of the cameras of the International Space Station.

Contains ads, why? In-app purchases, why? NASA makes the images and feeds available for free on their site without ads, yet here you are essentially making money from their work or what's going on here? Not to mention I disabled notifications yet still get them and the ads are super annoying popping up. Uninstalled frankly, you ran the app into the ground good job.

I love it. I would like to be able to track the Chinese space station at the same time as the ISS. I would like it if it had the option of tracking the Moon. Also the option of tracking the visible planet. I'm not talking a planetarium program with stars but and option to see what planets are up and there motion. Great program love it. Ted

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The tracking of the space station is highly accurate and the feature I use most often. Watching the live feeds from the space station as it fly's over is a beautiful site to see. There's a front view and a rear view. You can also record and save your own videos, as well as take photos. Both features are within the app and can be saved directly to your phone. When lining up the path, the top part of your phone will point in the direction the ISS will be traveling.

Informative, functional, rich, serious looking. As it usually happens with such applications, this one leaves you wanting for more. The one prominent issue is that it claims to show an ISS video feed, but instead you consistently get a blank screen with a caption. There ads are elegantly shown and not annoying at all.

This is the only ISS app that lets me see both cameras and hear the audio and I absolutely love it! Edit: It's 5 years later and I'm still using this app. It tells me when the ISS will be visible over my location (and where to look!), it lets me watch/listen to NASA TV (and ESA TV) so I can learn about space and how modern astronomers are studying it, and it's my go-to for EVEs but they start at like 4am and I often miss the notification(s) because I'm asleep. You should it!

It's great!!! I mean it is awesome!!! But I wish you could be able to turn the map showing the position of the ISS to satelite. Please if you could do that do it. But other than that, everything's AWESOME!!! Also I found out that its hard to find out how to switch cameras. Thanks! Edit: thanks so much for adding satelite map view, its is so much better

Interesting, facinating and informative. I am really pleased with the app. I like being able to listen to the crew talk to mission control. I would like if they had details of the ISS, like measurments, pictutes, square footage and so on. I love that I can take screen shots. I wish they had a schedule of when the crew would be "on duty" so I didn't have to guess.

I Wish we had more of a heads up then just 5 mins but still a cool app. I got to see with my own two eyes at 3-4am the solar s turning and reflecting the suns light at the right time. It was amazing to see. I wouldn't have known what I was looking at or even gotten see something like that if it wasn't for this app telling me where to look. It was really special. It was so fast but so clear and just really amazing to see that with my own eyes. I hear it's rare to see as well. Just awesome.
