With Netmonitor you can get a good idea of the cellular and WiFi signal strength and find out which corners of your office or home are having the best reception. Adjust the direction of the antenna to have better signal reception and to improve internet speed.Netmonitor displays advanced 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G (NSA and SA) cellular network information and helps you to watch the state of cellular network by gathering data about cell towers. Also detects aggregated carriers (so-called LTE-Advanced).
Tool for voice and data service quality troubleshooting, RF (Telecom) optimization and engineering field work.
In most cases precision of estimated cell tower position is better for sites with 3 cells detected (sectors). If you see only one cell, this is not cell tower position, this is cell serving area center.
Features:
* Almost realtime CDMA / GSM / WCDMA / UMTS / LTE / TD-SCDMA / 5G NR networks monitoring
* Current & neighboring cell infos (MCC, MNC, LAC/TAC, CID/CI, RNC, PSC/PCI, channels, bandwidths, frequencies, bands)
* DBM signal changes visualization
* Network info in notification
* Multi SIM (when possible)
* Export sessions to CSV and KML. View KML in Google Earth
* Load external BTS antennas data with precise cell towers location information
* Data collection in background
* Cell tower sectors grouping on the map
* Google Maps / OSM
* Approximate cell tower location with address based on geolocation services
* Cell finder & locator - discover new cells in the area
Force LTE only (4G/5G). Lock LTE band (Samsung, MIUI)
Feature is not available on every phone, it is accessible via firmware hidden service menu.
Netmonitor can help you diagnose various problems in your WiFi network setup. Detect available WiFi networks and analyze network coverage. Increase signal strength and reduce traffic volume. Helps discover the best channel for a wireless router. Detects devices connected to the network. Who’s using the network?
Features:
* Name (SSID) and identifier (BSSID), frequency and channel number
* Graph signal strength over time
* Router manufacturer
* Connection speed
* Estimated distance to the access point
* IP address, subnet mask, gateway IP address, DH server address, DNS addresses
* Spectrum bands - 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz

Doesn't actually show me any crowd-sourced data eg. speeds & latency on the map around my geographic area. Without a view of data collected by other s, this app is pretty useless.

Best work around I've found for changing bands on a certain carrier and model after a certain software update disabled band selection. Thanks!

Hijos de Satanás. Había dos alternativas. versión de prueba de 3 días "gratuita" y versión de pago (suscripción). Elegí la versión gratuita, nunca me suscribí y Resulta que envió una notificación de pago. Eso se llama ROBO. Children of Satan. There were two alternatives. "free" 3-day trial version and paid version (subscription). I chose the free version, never subscribed and it turns out that it sent a payment notification. That's called STEALING. Don't be sorry, give me my money back.

Invaluable tool with lots of info! I wish they would come up with a way to select a cell tower to connect to but apparently that's not possible.

Decided to check this out by importing data from NetMonster. Default importing didn't work with the CLF format, you have to make sure all data is cleared and manually set 3.0 (dec). Then, it'll display correctly. I tried enabling an eSIM with the app running and it didn't give me any information about the serving site etc. NetMonster, Cellmapper and WiGLE apps show it fine.

This app is interfering with the connection speed, not worth it.

The app is great and has gained a lot of features since my review 6 years ago. Access to some of the features in the radio menu have since been blocked by Samsung or Verizon, but this isn't Net monitor's fault. If I was a network engineer and understood all of the info, I expect the Pro version would be worth the $. Works well, but I could use information on the new data it captures for 4GLTE service and where to get a good US cell database.

TO EXIT, the menu button on the Bottom Right and select Exit Negatives: it shows a popup that is suggesting you start the free trial, and has an disabled slider checkbox thing, with the only other option to buy. BUT there is an X to exit it which maybe let's them get around that? Gives a lot of detail, overwhelming for most s, this is a troubleshooting and monitoring app primarily, the monitor service should NOT turn on instantly by default on a new install IMHO, that should be a setting
