If you enjoy looking at your home screen, this is the perfect app for you! When you're gonna want to read a post's comments the app will crash for no reason even though it's updated, allowing you to look at your home screen as much as you like! Also it's random af so the fun is endless! :D

The app just randomly goes back to the home screen when you turn your screen off. For no reason. You have to then decide to either scroll back to whatever depth you were at, or just go on another category. At which point I (and I would assume most people) get off the app, frustrated that this problem still exists.

Very funny and entertaining app, but it's beginning to use adds with sound that play automatically. It's irritating enough that I'm actually uninstalling and using a different app. Additionally, the app has permission to files from your phone without notification.

2024-11:Still... 2024-09: Again stopped ing where I was.... 2023-01-09:VIDEO PROBLEMS Update 2022-11-04:Still video problems, they don't care. Update 2021-05: Problem playing vids since the last update. Just fix the replay symbol. 2017:Keeps rolling back to older posts when u start the app. Turned of auto update. Before it only rolled back to the beginning on updates, now it does it when you close the program. Shouldn't have updated. Not that hard to keep track of where ppl quit the app.

The only positive experience is, that i could almost hide videos by not loading the thumbnails. Apart from it compared to a browser experience it is: slower, images are flickering, scrolling is not smooth. Waste of space and resources.

So 9GAG has updated it's ever growing list of issues but one that infuriates myself and numerous other s is the consistent resetting to the top. It may not seem like such an issue but when you've been scrolling for hours (sometimes days) only to have the app bring you back to the top and have to scroll through the countless post again just to reach the same spot, it gets very irksome. At least introduce a button to scroll down on the side please!!

The moderation is non existent. There is war crime, propaganda, gore, violence, hate speech and racism and zero funny memes. Every minute or so the page jumps down and a black rectangle appears before it jumps back up. After visiting a post and going back the entire feed resets. Going to the comment section loads a delayed ad so that as you are about to click on the first comment the ad pops up and you accidentally click it.
