Works as expected. The rest of apps of this type I tried don't works. It was very easy to find devices. Proximity signal also worked in my device.

this app to find a lost Fitbit Charge which I lost doing yard work. This app pinpointed the location to within 6 inches using signal strength. The lost Fitbit was found in the top 6 inches of the yard waste recycling bin in leaves. Was amazed on how well it pinpointed the location, great save! Very good app works as expected on Samsung note 4 best of all no special permissions or advertising, good Bluetooth information too. Great 5 Star app thank you!

> I am using RN4871 Data mode > I can see my device(RN48711) in app screen > I connect to it > on RN4871 side I get the message %CONNECT....%, so connection is ok > I select "Microchip Data Service" option on App screen > it drops down and gives three more options "1.Write, 2. Write, 3. Control" > I assume #2 should be Read, but then I don't know there are so many missing points in 's guide > now selecting first option I go to third screen in app, there keyboard gives option to write HEX only (I expected I can write any ASCII in data mode, then again no explanation in u's guide) > finally I type some number and press "Write" button... and App stops working with error msg "Unfortunately SmartDiscover has stopped" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SmartData that is available for Ios only is seemingly doing terminal kind of things read and write ASCII etc...
