Master Lock® Vault eLocks has been enhanced and redesigned as Master Lock® Vault Home.

Your smartphone is the key to your padlock and lockbox – no more forgotten combos!
Enjoy speed & ease of use, share access, have greater control with temporary keys/codes, low battery notifications and a 90-day history log. With a Bluetooth Smart-enabled device, you and your guests can unlock & lock your Master Lock Bluetooth Smart-enabled padlock using digital, encrypted “keys”. If you don’t have your phone with you, or you need to share temporary access with someone, the lock can be opened using a code entered on the lock keypad. In default Wake Mode, the lock unlocks upon pressing any button on the lock when your phone is with you. Optional Wake + Tap Mode, adds security by requiring the to wake the lock and press a button on their phone to unlock the lock. The lock owner can easily add and remove guests and schedule guest access to 24/7 or time-limited access. Disabled Mode allows for maintaining a locked state while the phone is stored inside of a locker. The lock history log captures lock registration; unlock, open and relock activity; unlock method (via Bluetooth Smart-enabled device or directional code); date, time and (if known); guest invitations, acceptances, access revocations; lock keypad tamper alerts; low battery alerts; Primary Code changes; settings changes (Automatic Relock Time, Unlock Mode, Time Zone); reset keys activity and firmware updates. The lock batteries are replaceable and can be jumped with an external battery if the battery dies in the locked position.

I really like the locks, and the new app, and i would definitely recommend them (though, each lock has a disadvantage, long as you know what it is, these locks are great), but it still feels clunky. Like, when the app shows the lock unlocked, but the lock is actually still locked. It's easy enough just to let the lock cycle through, and start over, but it's clunky.

Unless I'm dumb, there is no security on the app. If anyone has access to my phone, they have full access to all combinations. There should be a security code to access the app. Second, there is no we code or activation on the basic locks.yiu have to enter codes into notes, again, with no security.

good app, but often I have to add a new twice. it seems if i don't go fast enough, the app forgets you are adding a and he keeps on spinning when saving the new . can be somewhat frustrating.

So much better than the old app. Remote updates make it so much faster to confirm new codes, so less time standing in the rain synching. Also, it now shows your secondary codes in the app correctly. The old app was terrible for not showing you the correct codes. I still wish it would be possible to update codes on the app without needing to also synch by bluetooth, but I'd imagine thats more of a security decision.

This is a massive improvement on the previous eLocks app which used to crash all the time unless I used some workarounds. Also the ability to give pin codes a name and the ability to save a pin code in the app for a later update to the lock if you're not in the neighbourhood to change it right away is fantastic (if you wanted to change a pin in the old eLocks app you had to have the lock on hand as well).

Update #Needs a phone with Bluetooth version 5 or newer to work. Anything older than 2018 phone it won't work. Basically defeats the purpose of having the whole app if you have to the owners every time you need to open it.# Does not work. My friends apple phone managed to unlock the box but this version kept prompting me to press any button on the lock to activate it, pressing the button, it still wouldn't work.

Totally useless, i spend over an hour trying to set up the new version but instruction are incorrect. Device ID??? I would recommended buying this kind of device. I dont think they ara still uo to scratch with the digital version. No one to speak to directly. No customer service apart from writing emails hoping for a response. Wish i could get my money back. Please reframe from buying this. Save your self some money.

This is a useless app. You cannot a key even though the packaging says you can safely store your key number. Heck, you can't even use the website. You have to use this useless app. Kryptonite offers web based key service and also provide a replacement key if lost. Master Lock has a lot of catching up to do and this app is in the completely wrong direction.
