FM FAVALORO funciona en la sede central del I.E.S. René Favaloro, ubicada en avenida San Martín 1.146 de la ciudad de Juan José Castelli, Chaco.
Como Medio de Comunicación Masiva, cumple una importante misión para la comunidad educativa del instituto y sus diversas extensiones académicas del Impenetrable; como así también para la comunidad en general, difundiendo información institucional y promoviendo valores que contribuyan a la construcción ciudadana.
Fue creada el 27 de agosto del año 2013, e inicialmente funcionó en el antiguo edificio del museo; hasta que finalmente en el mes de mayo del 2022 pasó a contar con un edificio propio en el predio del instituto René Favaloro.
Gran parte de su programación es ocupada por estudiantes y docentes de distintos profesorados y tecnicaturas, aunque también tiene una apertura hacia el resto de la comunidad.
