The Homer app is very easy to navigate and all of my kids have loved using it. It has been a great resource as a learning aid and I haven't come across any weird content in it. When my kids aren't doing the parts that are focused on learning, the recreational activities (videos, drawing) keep them entertained as well. My oldest aged out of it at 8 at a time when the app had much less content. Currently my 6 and 3 year old enjoy it.

My daughters loves this app and has really jumpstart her letter recognition. She enjoys it way more then abc mouse and is easier to navigate both for the parent and child. The only reason I will not give it 5 stars is when the app malfunction (which happens and I understand) the team is very slow to get back to you and doesnt update you on what's happening. It took almost a week and multiple emails on my end to have the issue resolved.

Love the app and how easy it is to use and navigate. The only problem I come across at least 1 time every time I use the app is that something always freezes and I have to close out completely and choose a different game or activity. The app will just stay stuck on loading and nothing ever loads. Maybe in the next update they can fix that issue.

The program does an excellent job of teaching children to read. Unfortunately, it frequently has errors that their IT seems to be unable to fix for weeks at a time. Technical is never any help, just asks the same question, "What OS are you using?" which is always up to date. The issues always magically resolve themselves after several weeks.

Best content of any kids learning game that I have ed by far. That being said, the game freezes up every two minutes. If you close out and re-open the game it works just fine for a couple minutes and then freezes up again. This would be fine, but progress within each lesson is lost making it frustrating for my son to have to repeat half of each lesson. I uninstalled after about an hour of dealing with this .

I signed up for the trial offer. My kid loves Homer so far, but there are technical issues. Most games have been functioning, but a handful or so wont load and eventually takes us back to the home screen. I'm at a crossroad. I want to keep the subscription for my kid, but am nervous these glitches will not be fixed and may potentially get worse. Leaning more towards ending subscription near the end of the free trial.

Card needed before you even can trial?! I am one to read reviews from most recent to older in order to get an ideal for an app. I came across this app while trying to find sight words for my 4 year old (it was an ad on Pinterest). I was thrilled that there is a trial before the monthly charge. NOT thrilled my credit card info is needed before I've even got a chance to see if we like it. After reading reviews about having issues to cancel if needed, I quickly uninstalled and am ing. Shame.

Infuriating! I installed this in the car on the side of the road while on a road trip with a 4 year old. I was desperate to find something to keep him occupied during the long ride. I could not ever get it set up to work (warning, it requires detailed set up time) nor could I delete the year long subscription until the end of paying monthly for an unworkable (for me) AP. I fumed every month when I saw that charge appear on my AmEx card. Infuriating to be stuck paying for a useless AP for a full year.
