Very good app and way to projects , One thing I would like to see is if you're looking for video games to back to have a function to look for Physical only gigs as a collector I would only back a physical video game gigs but sometimes when im searching theres loads of digital only projects but takes ages to look for what I am looking to It would also help the seller or project as well. Just a little request for us physical collectors.

The app works, and it is easier to scroll through tons of projects than through the website. However outside of that specific case, using the app is systematically worse than using the website. No quick and convenient link to a list of your backed projects, project comments are an insane jumbled mess where you can't tell which are standalone comments and which were responses to previous comments... Plus the app tries to pop up when you're trying to browse via the normal website.

I mean, it's fine, but the UI is so clunky and counter-intuitive. I can't find how to mark a reward as received. There's no easy way to sort through backed projects. There's no app help, it just redirects you to Kickstarter . The app is stable and runs well, and it looks just fine. The functionality leaves something to be desired. 10/2024 edit - Being unable to zoom is becoming increasingly frustrating. I may uninstall and go back to the mobile website.

Slow and annoying, this mobile version of Kickstarter needs its own project to fund improvement. The recommendations are terrible, much of the content is not appropriate for younger audiences and there are no ways to filter the types of projects. I should be able to choose categories I am interested in (say tech) and be shown those offerings.

The messages and activity notification bubble on the app remains on showing messages and activity when there has been none, can't delete or archive messages that were recieved or sent, besides that I find the app to be excellent, I had a few more things I could have added, but I have limited writing space so I listed the ones that stuck out to me the most, so 4 stars from me

Since the update, I have been running into a number of problems. In one instance, it kept adding a "bonus pledge" onto my pledge. The app is much easier to use than going online, but these glitches mean that you have to go online anyway. Plus, the app needs to be able to sort successful pledges into those that have and those that have not been fulfilled.

Nice app. But be carful! Kickstarter cares little when some projects just ripped you off, take all your money and not even try to build something. There are lots of them. Many have lost hundreds of dollars. But when it works it is nice. Those which had delivered before are more save than entirely new ones, unfortunately.

It was functional if a little basic compared to the website before, now attempting to update a pledge or swap levels results in the app doing whatever it pleases for whatever price it pleases so it's not reliable enough for somewhere you spend money.
