This app uses the magnetic field sensor on your device to measure magnetic flux density (B) in Gauss or Tesla. FOR INDICATION ONLY. Results depend on your device and its hardware. Your device must have a Magnetic Field Sensor for this app to function. Features include:

Analogue dial to show current reading.
Averaging.
Maximum and minimum values.
Gauss or Tesla units.
4 time constant options. 3 Refresh speeds.
Graph – Shows the time depedence of the magnetic field.
Com
Ferrous metal detector – sound frequency will change with gauss level.
Autoscale or manual (pinch & pan) Y-Axis.
Calibrate option – If you have a calibrated gauss meter or known magnetic source, you can use this option to calibrate the meter. (However app is still for Indication Only).

Gauss meter and com seem accurate to me.I tested it with real magnets, and the magnetic flux field as indicated on the meter appeared to vary as the square of the distance from the magnets, just as it should. The com is right on. The screen layout is clear, and controls are intuitive. I am sure I will use the magnetic com quite often. I like this app alot.

Combine the features of this app with your ac magnetometer and boom, you'd have the magnetometer app of the century. With this one I'm able to detect magnetic distortions pretty nicely, I've been able to pick up underground pipes/structures if you can believe it. The com feature is far easier to make sense of than the standard x,y,z, axes and the sound output feature is handy as well, you cats did good with your sensor apps!

Clean and neat interface. I like the thought and attention to detail the Dev clearly out into his work. Works well, even better after calibrating. Note to those sayin fake: you probably arent returning to the exact same pos'n. if you test, repeat more than once and as close to identical as possible, morons... To the guy asking why his microwave isn't being picked up: microwaves are heavily shielded so that they dont cook whatever is near to it. if you got readings youd need a new microwave -_-

As I'm an EE who loves measurements and graphs, this is a great app for me! I've already used it to find steel water pipes in walls by changes of the earth's magnetic field near the pipe.

I live near power lines ..i have a question..in my home it reads 0.4 G and when I drive near the power lines outside .it reads also 0.4 G. Wasn't it supposed to spike up near 10 000volts power lines ? It's the only thing that seems strange. Other than that it picks up oven refrigerator everything.

Very good it always keeps me guessing.... Why whenever I check on it. It goes from the thousands back to 400s you might have a glitch but it happens almost every time I have hundreds of screenshots if your interested. Does work tho great product. Won my loyalty. Truly thank you. How do I pay you back?

It actually works! I tested it with my magnetic screwdriver and a suspected magnetised watch. Confirmed the watch is magnetised and after demagnetisation, the meter stoped responding to the watch. Great app!

A great piece of kit to have handy on your phone should you require the need to measure magnetic fields. See if a magnet has lost it's magnetism before you buy one in a store, or use it scientifically. I like it.
