“Named as Game of the Year for a reason, Osmos is a fantastic game. A combination of physics, survival and classic eat em up” — WeDoCode

Enter the Darwinian world of a galactic mote. To survive, absorb smaller organisms and grow—but beware of larger predators! Winner of multiple "Game of the Year" awards, Osmos features unique physics-based play, stellar graphics, and a hypnotic soundtrack of ambient electronica. Ready to evolve?

“The ultimate ambient experience” — Gizmodo
“Beyond doubt, a work of genius” — GameAndPlayer.net

THE CRUX:
you must grow by absorbing smaller motes, but to propel yourself you must eject matter behind you, causing you to shrink. From this delicate balance, Osmos leads the player through floating playgrounds, competitive petri dishes, deep solar systems, and more.

Whether you're a child at heart who likes mucking about with single-cell organisms, or a strategist with a physics degree, this game will appeal to everyone.

It's back! This was one of my favorite mobile games, then disappeared... and i kinda forgot about it. One day i ed and looked it up to find it was unavailable while the devs retooled it... sad. Now it's back. Not sad.

A lot of fun. And beautiful video. But it eats battery and overheats the device on my higher resolution devices. Especially the layers with all the orbital mechanics. The types of levels are so different from each other that it almost feels like it should have been three or four games

I've had the HD version of the game for about 6 years. It was one of my favorites. But now the game has a big white bar on the right side on the Samsung S8. I realize the S8 has a longer screen than 16:9, but the white bar is blinding compared to the otherwise black gameplay screen. Very distracting. Simply making the bar black would help if the software can't be modified for an 18.5:9 screen.

I've been playing this game of and on for years. Every once and a while, I'll uninstall it only to reinstall it shortly after. It's truly a great game. I enjoy the puzzles and mechanics, as well as the look and sounds from the game. I feel it all ties together to make a relaxing yet entertaining experience. 😊

Osmos was one of the very first games I ever played on Android, and to its considerable credit, it also remains one of the best. Osmos has multiple interesting play modes, great 1v1 multiplayer, deceptively simple control over a nuanced and challenging set of mechanics, and great visuals with pleasant ambient audio.

If you want to challenge pros in multiplayer mode or float around chilling in space... it's beautiful on the eyes and teaches everyone quite some amazing physics as well. I havent played through all the levels as the higher ones arent easy. Thx to the developer and the nice female voice on one of the youtube videos. This is a truly relaxing game. 2 years later I still am amazed by the great sound and wish to have some online fights like when it was great widely played. years later, loving it stil

One of the few games I have installed. The basic concept is very cool, I love the strategy of it, and the music is great. It's very 'zen'. I had an older version on my Note 4, and when it was ported over to my Note 9, it quit working. Had to a new version, but that's literally the only problem I've had.

Odyssey mode is short but enjoyable. However, I am unable to get into multiplayer mode. I'm logged into Google Play in the game and when I click multiplayer it starts to load a lobby then closes right away. Hopefully you can help! As this is a paid app and recommended by the Play Store I'm disappointed in the lack of multiplayer fuctionality.
