is absent. devices require constant troubleshooting. most stop working after a power outage. nobody can help me connect them back. troubleshooting and FAQ is full of useless "restart your device (don't call us)" instructions. worked much better 10 years ago for all Internet of Things devices.

Tested Globe smart bulbs for 5+ years. Pros: Excellent features—colour, brightness, app, durability, compatibility, price. Affordable if you want a single set-and-forget bulb. Cons: Connectivity is very unreliable; troubleshooting is frustrating. Despite moving, upgrading hardware, and updating firmware, issues persist throughout my home with many Globe Wi-Fi bulbs. Lights disconnect randomly; some unresponsive for days. Groups often out of sync. Tried all solutions; problems always return.

It kept removing my light switch from the app for no apparent reason... But it turns out my issue was the switch physically getting stuck on, which apparently resets it and removes it from the app. I had to file down the plastic on the switch to get it to stop being stuck, and it's worked flawlessly since. So the app is just fine, it was the hardware that screwed up.

I rely on this app for all my lighting. On the whole, it's an amazing tool for an amazing price! (The bulbs, that is) My ONLY issue is that it's ing a couple of old routine settings -- although they've been long deleted, don't show up in the app settings, & I've uninstalled & reinstalled twice. Baffling. Beyond that, it's a solid 4-4½ stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟✨️

Update: Tech said never to turn them off at the switch. That doesn't work, either. These need to be rediscovered quite often. Just awful. Bulbs frequently ungroup and flash when turned back on after being off for a while, requiring rediscovery in the app. Sometimes, one bulb in a three-bulb fixture goes offline, necessitating either fixture disassembly or flicking the switch three times to regroup. Consider getting a hub system!

Updated: The app gives you limitless options for your connected bulbs, it's universal, syncs with Alexa, Google Assistant, allows for custom scenes - color, brightness, mood, etc, create any mood and add the Widget to homescreen and you've got instant remote control! My past issues described in previous edits are still present, but I cannot blame the app or developer, it's turning out to be my old, never-yet-reset since 2021 smartphone, as other apps are starting to glitch similarly.

update: they emailed me but not able to fix the issue. This app should be great. But the routines you can set up (turning lights on and off) don't seem to update correctly. I had a switch on at 6h30 this summer, now I switched it to 7h30 but it still turns on at 6h30 even though it says 7h30 in the app. I also have a switch that turns on without me ever setting a timer for that time. Too bad because it's so useful to be able to set lights on schedules.

Used to be a great app, but now it has some problems. For example, my smart wifi plugs do not work well anymore, they loose connection all the time from the app, even though the wifi router is 5 feet away, they still loose connection. It also needs a refresh and needs to be fixed up. Kind of old app and overpriced devices.
