This app was working. Then all of a sudden, it wasn't. Cleared the cache, and it still shut down after viewing the front page a couple of seconds after opening the app. Tried 3 more times unsuccessfully. Hope it gets fixed. I've been a long time subscriber and hate to cancel. Un-installed it and installed it once and it still stops.

When clicking a notification, the app will not open until you click on a subsequent notification. Cannot see notification from within the app. When sharing or linking to articles from within the app, it appends the title to the pasted text in an SMS even though you do not see that text. I find spelling, grammar, or typo errors in thr publication ALL the time.

2/3 Things are worse. The dev and company obviously do not care. No response. No fix. And must sign on every launch. There are better sources for Louisville news that are free, less hassle and news rather than op-ed. I have had a paid subscription for years. Until recently things were ok, however, they've gone downhill recently. I've been sending direct feed, but the app is constantly requiring sign in even when tapping a push notification. This is unacceotable.

This app suffers from a couple major flaws. For one, it doesn't handle notification settings correctly. In the app I've opted out of sports news alerts, and yet I get one or two push notifications a day about sports. Also, when I do click on a notification, it almost always asks me to subscribe. Problem is, I'm already subscribed. The app automatically logs me out nearly every time I close it and I have to log back in every time I want to read an article. As a paying subscriber, I'm disappointed

The CJ app works marginaly well. The navigation and layout is better, but still average because: a) I don't like the placement of menu buttons at the bottom, and b) the search "hourglass" is non-existent, thus making it difficult to find an article. Needs improvement.

I like the app, but it no longer stays signed in. When you select an article in notification or you simply just open the app after a few minutes it makes you sign back into your to read the story. It used to stay signed into your & allow you to read articles without always having to sign back in everytime. It would be nice if it could be fixed, but customer service has never helped with this issue, so be prepared to always sign into your each time you read an article

This app used to have at least some free articles. Over the past two weeks I've checked every single one of 20+ articles on its homepage each day, and every single one requires a subscription. So it's easier just to check local news station websites...WLKY, WDRB, etc, where news is still free.

As of April 2022, will never start on Android. It is difficult to tell which stories presented are new. Constantly seeing old stuff. I swear at one point there was a way to see a visual of the print version for a day & then tap on articles to read. Obituaries are a mess - If someone you are looking doesn't have a last name that starts with A or B, you have scroll through some massive list.
