Can we can an API so I can make my own app? sceptical at first why I needed an iot swamp cooler, but having the graphs of temp input and output was cool. As an engineer, I would love to have the RH humidity graphed as well I think that's the most interesting part. The only way to remotely interact with my device is with this app. I have barely ever seen such a malfunctioning app. Won't find the device, then can't anymore, then tried to create another . Each time: spinning wheel forever. Would be clever to stop thinking connecting device back to your infrastructure is clever for everyone and allow people to use their device through their own wifi only??!

The app crashes every time I have even tried ing it on 3 different phones. I have spoken to customer several times and they never have any idea what to tell me. I follow their directions precisely and have troubleshooted every variable. I would like a replacement unit or my money back at this point.

Waited 7 weeks to get this device. Nicely marketed and packaged but app doesn't work. it does not seem to transmit a wifi signal on Android or ios. Stopped working entirely with error message. ed customer service at evapolar and Touch of Modern where i purchased it. No idea that the app was not designed to work with this device, particularly the Android version. Ios at least asks for models 1 and 2 or model 3. Wasted an hour and a half for a 3 minute expected setup.

New firmware won't update, connecting to system is hit or miss. Anytime opening the app, it berates you to rate it. Now to unplug the system, manually start it again. Then forget this app exists for another year, after that I will probably delete it. I like playing with the color wheel and the effects, the app makes that easier. too bad about everything else about the app.

Hardwarw is great but the app is trash. Every version has been broken. After I replaced the cartridge on my device, everything about the app fell apart. The app couldnt communicate with my device anymore so I removed and havent been able to pair the device for weeks. Working with and they dont even know what the problem is. The app crashes when simply trying to pair a device. If you can't manage to get hardware to pair to an app, is it really "smart" hardware? Unacceptable software

App doesn't work! Got a new phone and had to repair my eva smart device. I followed the instructions to pair and it just keep failing! Having to repeat everything over and over with no avail. I see the device putting out a wifi signal but the app fails every time to connect to it. Very irritating considering how over priced this is for this feature you can't even use. Makes no sense.

its been 2 years since i originally bought my evapolar, the exact same SSID connection issue is still present to this day, even though the UI has improved. It just doesnt recognise my wifi whatsoever, ed multiple times but they were never able to find a solution. Only way around this is to go into your router and remove from your 2.4ghz network band during the intial setup. Obviously this puts extremely risk to your security. This is a great example of excellent hardware plagued by poor software.
