Painfully dull. The Power Rangers skin on this idle game does little to mask that it has nothing to offer. Battles are arbitrary, progression requirements quickly become absurd, and there's not even a gocha element to it, every character is acquired in a scripted manner. If you try to upgrade the way you want, the game punishes you by slowing down your progression. It's all clearly designed to annoy you into spending money, and it's not worth it.

The events that go on do not provide enough time to get to the end of the milestone. Upgrading/leveling Alpha, Monsters, Rangers, and Zordon, whether it's in the main game or event game, is too expensive. The cost of upgrading/leveling is barely tolerable in the main game. However, in the events, it is a huge problem due to the short time limit placed on said events. Fans of the Power Rangers franchise that want the event prize should not have to pay their way to the end just to get it.

I really liked it at first, even with it constantly crashing after watching an ad. But after a few weeks, it no longer lets me open crates or even open the menus. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still doesn't work. I've ed constumer and they said they're working on it. So if they ever fix it, I'll change this review. Until then, I can't recommend it. Weeks of work all for nothing.

Whoever writes the vignettes has saved this game. They're very cute and in character and the right level of reference without relying entirely on nostalgia. I played because I want to get to the next story. The combat system almost has strategy to it but there's so little control that it feels bad. Thankfully, defeat isn't a big deal and you still progress when failing. The idle clicker part is an idle clicker. It's designed to stress you out and get you to pay real money to "win."

The conversations and story is charmingly campy, the idle system is okay. Recently hit a wall where alot of coins/crystals are needed to upgrade rangers and automate monsters in game. While free boxes allow for one or two major upgrades, it's clear you have to spend money to speed up the game. Not a big fan of pay to win but not sure how to avoid that. Ads do get annoying sometimes to get boosts, especially when two play at a time instead of one. Fun time waster, more could be improved.

The necessity for gold coins used for upgrading vs the amount obtainable without making overpriced purchases is incredibly unbalanced. The story is ok but it's broken up by sometimes multiple day waiting periods to collect the resources needed to continue. Still a fun game tho. Takes about 30 mins a day to do everything you can do without purchases. (Unless you enjoy just watching timers fill.)

It's like the other games this company produces except this one really takes a loss on the battle mechanics. Usually when you get to attack first it gives you an advantage in the fight, but not in this game it seems. If you don't one shot your opponents then they get to use their special attacks from having less health instead of a basic attack like you get to use to start. Prepare to lose a lot in this game even against the bots.

Ran into a bug while playing, but the customer service team did an amazing job to help me out, 5 star service! One thing I noticed was how there is no profile to customize for the game; so you are stuck with what seems to be a random auto generated name and random Mighty Morphin power ranger icon, which has its own charm to it in a sense (Definitely had a good laugh seeing some of the names on there). But would've liked it more if I could at least choose one of the many Rangers to represent me.
