This will sound like a nitpick, but it was a big turnoff for me. So there are 4 gems per level, which typically pop out of enemies. The gems float upward for a sec, then start falling down, and if you don't manage to catch one before it falls offscreen, it's gone until you restart the level. The gems are optional, but as in games with 3 stars per level, I don't feel like I really beat the level w/out getting them all. Couldn't the gems just stay there? Would that really make the game worse?

This game is great! The music is so good, love the art style, and the controls are super fun. Even the menus are playful. 2 things would make this an easy 5-star rating; Google Play Services for save backups and for 18:9 (tall) screens. I have black bars on the left and right which is a shame for a game that looks so great.

This game combines beautiful pixel art with controls that are very fluid and well-done. The gameplay and storyline are fun, and I have been enjoying finding all of the "diamonds" hidden in each level. I was little bit nervous about purchasing the game because I was worried I wouldn't like the controls. However, I caught on quickly, and there is even an optional tutorial to help you become accustomed to the gameplay. Witcheye is an all-around great game that I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic platformer that completely changes the formula. Who said platforms had to be about jumping? This one lets you fly! Think flying through levels is going to be easy? Think again! The game gets really challenging forcing you to master its unique controls and what feels clumsy at first starts to feel natural very quickly. If you want a challenge and are up to learning a new type of controls this game is for you, I personally loved it!

This game runs very smoothly for my phone (Samsung S5 Active) and has very well made sprites and general scenery. It is a nice little thing to kill time with. The only issue I've found is some enemies are nearly impossible to kill because they move too fast and they take several hits to kill, such as the blue shieldmen. Other than that, I'd say this is an all around good game and definitely worth your money!

Totally worth 2.99! I'm amazed at how much they've done with such a simple concept. Every level feels distinct, down to each careful enemy placement. The difficulty is perfect—quick levels where things snowball fast if you aren't careful but breeze by once you master them. Easy to complete with many optional challenges and extra difficulty modes. Hidden blue gems sometimes take a while to find, but it's never frustrating and often clever.

Wonderful game! This game was such a joy to play. The huge variety of villains and the stages tell the dev poured a lot of heart and sweat into it. It is also perfectly optimized for touch screen of mobiles. Cutting 1 star because of the very difficult last boss battle though I might change my mind later when I play this game again.

Solid game, but really suffers from gimmicks. The first world is really fun, but the game starts introducing new mechanics like wind or water pretty quickly, and things go down from there. These mechanics make movement a huge chore. You're constantly fighting against the game. It's like actively trying to stop you from moving. Levels without these kinds of mechanics are fun, but there are too many levels that have them. I wish the whole game was as good as that first world.
