Used to think it was great. Has lots of great features. If only the app still worked. Every time I've opened it it has been more broken. It has also become very resource intensive and wants to be on all the time. Early on I suggested heat maps and they added them! Now I can't see them even though they're activated. Bugs galore. Fix what you have before trying to add more please Deckee.

It's free and it works ! The only suggestion I can make is to make your satellite views more Hi-Definition. Using my smartphone, when I zoom on a particular area of interest such as the boatramp area and surrounding streets a nd foreshore area, the image becomes blurry, lacking fine detail. I know that it's possible to have hi-def because your opposition paid-for app "mariner" has it.

So far so good. I lost power to my on-board plotter at night two weeks ago and used this app with excellent results. It's a good idea to plot the position of one's pots on deckee so if your plotter goes down you've got back. Being able to change the layout of the weather page is a great feature also. Top app Deckee!

I need to trial it while out on the boat. As a trial run (dry, while inside the living room), looks brilliant. Some serious, logical thought has gone into this app. Haven't experienced the techy bugs some reviewers are complaining about - surely a button not working doesn't warrant one star? Nevertheless, great weather integration, maps are super accurate in my areas, love the satellite overlay. Looks like my days boating are going to be so much more fruitful. Can't wait to get out with Deckee!

I want to like the app... being developed in Australia, however it has a no. of problems in use...first and foremost is the need to have good internet reception and service. In Cairns we are not exactly in a remote backwater, but in several locations, the app fails to , or drops out as soon as internet is poor. For me was hoping I could use it for jetsking or kayaking...until they change to a able map/data system, it isn't going to be usable for anything other than city or harbours

I am benefitting from many aspects of this great App: Ease with which the location can be set when travelling in different places The predictions on different aspects of weather The clear trip record and capacity to make notes to refer to later. The capacity to pause then resume trip is helpful too. Would like the Summary to include the locations of start, turn arounds and finish. Plus the opportunity to mark on the trip significant places of interest to refer to later in the summary notes or on the Trip using "markers" for items such as "picnic ground", "location", "camp", "safety/emergency evacuation point" The start and finish times, speeds are good references. I use this when walking too. Thanks!

Great app! always use it for boating forecasts, maps and now to log on/off. Will give it 5 stars if you can make it possible to favourite/ save locations for weather so i dont have to search for them every time.

Downgraded review, after their most recent update! 5/10👍I would love to say better things and this app but the "server side" is so slow it just locks up the app and stops it running. And what's worse, they keep ADDING stupid pages and preloaded junk. It was a simple great little app, but now is like a lotto ticket. Sometimes it works sometimes it won't and just times out and thats before you have to navigate through all these updates things just to view tides and local info 🙈
