If you have a high-speed Internet connection but notice that your web browsing speed isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be, then your problem may lie in the DNS. By optimizing your device's DNS records, you can find the fastest routes for your data packets to take when traveling the Internet. It won’t boost to your / speed, but in some cases it can result in quite a noticeable improvement in web browsing time.
At times, you may experience slow hiccups while trying to use the internet from your device. Sometimes, these problems can be attributed to your provider's DNS settings because your ISP may not always have the best DNS server speeds.
Your default DNS server directly affects how fast you’ll be able to connect to a website. So choosing the fastest server according to your location will help speed up browsing.
With DNS Changer, you can find the fastest DNS server and connect to it with just one touch!
So your browsing speed and gaming experience (ping and latency) can be improved. (But you should that DNS settings will not affect your internet / speed but response time)

VPNService: DNS Changer uses VPNService base class to create DNS connection.
- For DNS: When your Android device connects to the Internet from a specific network, your address on the Internet (the location of your Android device in the virtual network) is called the IP address. And the IP address is a code system consisting of encrypted numbers. DNS Changer processes these numbers as site addresses by using DNS servers, and the address can be reached when searched in this way.

Comcast customer here. I was having a lot of trouble with slow connections and browsing with Comcast's DNS servers, and since Android doesn't let you change settings, I tried this app to switch to OpenDNS. I verified that I am actually on OpenDNS's servers (to make sure this isn't malware), and browsing is MUCH faster now. Data transfer speeds are about the same, but the slowness came from long DNS resolution times, which this app solved. Well worth the price to disable ads, IMO.

Works, loaded with ads... Far too many for my liking. But most importantly I cannot write this app more than one or two stars because they want a subscription as opposed to at one time fee. I don't need your VIP , and you offer no other services that are worth subscription/s. The app just changes a setting. That's it. People are sick to death of useless subscriptions. Based on the above stated, I most definitely cannot recommend this app.

installed this app on an Android box but uninstalled it later as the DNS changer needed to be manually restarted every time the box was used (no auto start on boot feature). Once uninstalled I couldn't access data at all and nothing on the android box would connect to the internet, not even a speed test app. Re-installed the DNS changer app and data worked again. Looks like I'm stuck with it.

I just don't really see the difference when it comes to improvement on my data connection. I have unlimited 5G data on the new OnePlus N10, yet I still have times where my data connection just seems rather non-existent. However, when using the app, it seems at times to provide a more consistent connection? But then it will have periods where my data won't work at all because of the DNS change. I'm wondering if I should stick to just utilizing android's DNS server setting(s).

Too much ads!!! I can deal with a few but they pop up all the time no matter which all I'm using, also when I want to go into the app itself to turn it on or off I have to battle 4-5 apps and no matter that I press the little X in the corner it still takes me to playstore and I have to go back and the ad is still playing... It's a vicious cycle I've decided to uninstall it it's just too much

Great but keeps disconnecting itself. Meaning I have to keep opening and connecting every now and then. Switching battery to unrestricted did not help. The disconnecting happens most frequently on mobile (which is used away from home), at home I use the wifi. Using free edition, wish there was an automatic reconnect setting. Also, wish it would start on boot. Otherwise it would defeat it's purpose. I want DNS settings to be permanent and over mobile and all wifi's.

There are alternative programs out there that do exactly the same, but that can be purchased with a one-time payment, whereas this developer charges recurring subscription fees month after month, year after year ad infinitum for such a simple and trivial functionality. Consequently, the alternative it is, whereas this milkingware has been uninstalled.

Straight away, tons of full-screen ads are present, making everything confusing and hard to use. Also had to agree to a lot of tracking and indefinite storage of data and internet usage data that is described in many pages of agreement legalese which only an attorney would be able to understand. Prevention of data collection is one of the primary reasons a person would want to use a DNS changer in the first place. So thanks, but no.
