Makes most obnoxious, time consuming tasks in the game very easy to manage from your phone. Mostly positive from my experience. However, doesn't allow you to collect bounties if you're already located on the map, which is annoying when you're not near the vendor. Also, equipment management is far easier in other apps (i.e. Ishtar). Would be nice to have a one-stop shop app that does everything well, but this is the best all-around I've seen so far. Could still use some improvements.

1/23:Most of the time it just spins the loading icon because its not connecting to Bungie servers. It is not my network. I have no issues with other similar game apps. Update a year later: this app still lags bad. Can't even get bounties most of the time. 8/24: here we are, a year and a half later, and this app still has not been fixed. Bungie suggests in game to use this app but doesn't even it.

Rating it low because of the vault and item list functionality. When scrolling through literally hundreds of items in the vault and getting to the item i need, clicking on it to inspect it and then backing out the app immediately returns me to the top of the list. this forces me to scroll BACK down to get back to the section i need. this is very frustrating when trying to find a specific item with duplicates because im constantly scrolling back to where i need to be.

the app has horrible problems interacting with the network, which is pretty sad because that's its primary purpose. it regularly blames my networking for what is clearly an issue with their backend services: i have to frequently restart the app (force stop sometimes), or even log out and back in, and even then it frequently sits there spinning accomplishing nothing. i have no problems with other apps on the bungie API, and so i blame the bungie app specifically. it's never my networking.

The only reason why I use this app is to be able to buy bounties without having to go to each vendor individually. However all too often that feature doesn't work for some reason. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times, I've checked & re-checked all settings, I've re-ed my device, I've done everything possible but it's happening with my friends also so it's not just me! It's ridiculous and there's no excuse for them not getting this fixed it's been going on for years now!

Simply doesn't work—it says "loading databases" but never actually finishes, rendering its core functionality useless. Uninstalling, wiping local data, and reinstalling doesn't fix the issue. I use DIM for most things anyway, but before the app stopped working for me I used it to buy bounties without having to go to the Tower. It's annoying to not have access to that.

I really like this app when im able to .. Since I've had the app logging in has always been an issue. Ill click to , choose my system, enter my email and PW, then nothing. Same screen. I've uninstalled, restarted my phone, and updated multiple times with no luck. Giving it 2 stars only because I cannot use it half the time.

This is a really good way of keeping track of your gear, events coming up, milestones, rewards and merch - pretty much everything you can want to keep up with Destiny 2. I was surprised by how much I ended up using it, but it's turned out to be incredibly useful. I think it could be better if there were a way to track the stuff from your pursuits tab like quests/bounties/etc., but even if that doesn't happen it's still a good way to just check out what you've collected.
