Good game, better AI than others. But they need to fix the scoring. Points for double isn't always credited. Same for gammon. Other thing holding it back: Ads. Why not offer a paid version with no ads? But the real issue is the overlay ad at the top during games that covers up the UI.

It send to work well enough but the ads are literally over the top. They are there constantly overlaid on top of the game. Then there are additional ads between games. Too much and at times difficult to dismiss as the buttons are nearly of the screen. Reading other reviews I wonder how the skill levels are implemented. I suspect the dice roll is not so random when going up in skill level rather than actual higher skilled play.

Your game cheats. You could have two points covered, the 6 and 2, and my next 3 rolls would be one double 6s and two double 2s. You can't tell me that its random? Equally, if the computer has a point open, 99% of the time I don't roll a number so that I can hit it until the computer has it covered. If you are going to design your app to cheat, at least attempt to make it look less blatant!!

It's beautiful looking, and plays well when it works, but it's just unfinished. It doesn't keep your score totaled. After 3 wins, it just starts over lol. If you turn off the stupid hints and other BS in settings, it suddenly decides I want it to roll for me, which is just confusing. It doesn't let you exit the game. You have to kill the damn thing. It may be the best out there, I don't know; it's as if they developed it well but no one QA'd it.

The game is ok, but the programers allow the ads to post over the game, blocking the top row of pieces from being visible. This isn't the between game advertising DURING THE GAME. There is no way to close or relocate the ad to a different place on the screen; you just have to watch annoying popup ads, one after another, block the pieces on the screen. How incompetent is the programer who thought this was a good idea?? Or is it an employee that "works" from home that's not even paying attention?

It used to be pretty fair and I enjoyed this app for a long while, but for some reason they have changed the dice rolling to give the computer the most spectacularly lucky rolls. Normally a player can win at least 50 percent of the games, but lately I can only win about 30 percent due to the dice rolls. Not sure why they do this but it is disappointing. I guess it is time to find another version.

Several bugs. The doubling die doesn't work on the first game in a match. If the opponent can't use all of their dice and you have the option to propose a double you can use any of the opponents dice (and you can't undo once you realize you're cheating). Then you still get to roll and take your turn.

It's a good backgammon game, but there are glitches. The doubling cube often doesn't score correctly. The opponent goes first 90% of the time. When you opponent when they are behind, they will roll high doubles to catch up. This happens every time. When you increase the skill, the opponent gets miracle rolls while you'll never get the exact roll you need. I still play way too much, but there are some frustrating issues. The banner ad on top of game play seems to be addressed.
