A great app to learn sheet music. Giving it 4 stars as it's missing a small feature which could help you practice choral singing directly from the notes. It does have an option for using the mic as an input but it doesn't provide a way to give you a starting tone or on the margin of error for the note you sing.

i have to give 5 stars, this app taught me in no time to read notes and understand the basics of it. i would recommend using the note wheel since it is more responsive and smoother than in other apps and the piano is a bit clunky and easy to miss the notes at least for me. i would wish that they would add that i can only see tutorials of a specific course instead of resetting them all but that is just Nick picking.

By far the best way to learn music reading. Not best app but best way. Every bit of music theory is seperated and you can learn in detail and with interesting practices. I personally had problem with learing bass clef by a practical way and this app really helped me. I personally suggest all of "Complete" series for whoever wants to learn music theory.

The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because there is one little improvement, which would make this app even better: There are various options to chose from when it comes to how you play the note displayed on screen and all of them have their advantages and disadvantages, but one thing that is REALLY missing is the ability to specifiy whether you give the input of e.g. a normal C or a C one or more octaves higher or lower. I'd suggest implementing a scrollable keyboard to solve this.

The app is really good, I also purchased the plan. There is a big flaw thought, that makes it very difficult to use: when using the note circle, it's hard to click the correct note while looking at the staff, it's like the area one needs to click is very small. I would add the option of making it bigger so that clicking without looking, especially when reading fast, becomes easier.

Pretty good but I would like a setting where instead of the notes moving, the current note could be highlighted or coloured, and the notes stay in the same place until you complete the line. This would make it be better neurologically because It's less to process and closer to how you would sight read in real life. The microphone feature is also a little bit janky, you can't play the notes too fast or else it'll say you're wrong. Would be good if there was a way to calibrate it to your piano.

It's a pretty good app for sight reading practice. The reason I rate it at 3 stars is the quality of the note pickup thru the microphone. I have a Samsung S23 ultra which has a great mic, so it's not a hardware issue. It's absolutely flow-ruining when the app doesn't pick up a note you played, forcing you to replay it to get it to move ahead. And then automatically decides you played 4 wrong notes and jumps way ahead in rapid succession. Both of those app behaviors are bad for sight reading

It's a great app, I'm getting close to being able to read sheet music and play on the piano (sight-reading). Transferring this is less easy on my guitar and quite hard on my violin, but that's probably only natural. I've seen the 'pitch detection algorithms can not be perfect' in the microphone settings, but boy howdy I wish you'd just make an imperfect microphone game in the arcade-mode.
