As to the app itself, I would strongly recommend to allow content to be ed onto the device as someone might be easily out of network when in need of info. It would be nice if the app could run on Android 7 devices for poorer villagers. When it comes to the quality of the info, I consider this to be the best information available regarding snakes, spiders and scorpions, especially for species home in southern Africa.

Very disappointed to find that this app doesn't work offline. It's not an app (like Roberts birds) that includes all its data and will work without an internet connection. So that left us trying to ID a snake in the bush with an app that couldn't load snake images (each snake page is a PDF) because we had no signal (i.e. we were in the kind of area where you find snakes). Once back in civilisation, no problem. Worked nicely, but I'd give it zero stars because its neither a real app (more like a hosted web page) and doesn't work offline. When you need it.

Fantastic app. One request, it would be nice to have a shareable link to the web page for a snake or other profile. This would allow you to identify or get the snake details and send it to a social media post such as Facebook. Not the PDF version. That's not an easy way of getting the information out quickly.

Hi, I am a outdoor/nature lover and I often go on hikes and bird-watching-outings. I love this app with all the details, lovely pictures and range of features. Thank you for making it. I would suggest adding a feature to be able to save snake profiles offline?

Wouldn't it be nice to have an off-line App with all the relevant data embedded in the app. Yes and maybe auto-update with the latest news and "sightings of the creatures in one's area". The information in a database would really be appreciated! Johann

This app, which requires a fast internet connection to work, may lead to dangerous situations in the field when you waste your time waiting for the data to load (which is often impossible in remote areas) while the bite victim loses precious minutes. I urge the developers to provide an offline version of the app.

Nice app. I had trouble at first with the PDF's not loading, but was pointed in the right direction as this is a common challenge. Now the app works great! And we just realised the snake we had in our courtyard was not a brown house snake haha. Great app, great info, great connections.

Handy, easily navigated free app with crystal clear graphics and text. Interesting layout that I find handy, e.g. under spiders, which are venomous and which harmless, right next to the picture. Good educational use too, albeit with some grammatical errors.
