I ed the app recently. Among the few items I checked, one item prompted Location access for the app. This made my phone freeze for a while and then restart. I had to uninstall the app so my phone could function normally again. Please fix this problem, so it doesn't happen to myself and other s in the future. Thank you.

3.5 stars because of the way the camera acts when taking pictures for items not in the database. Have to take photos multiple times just so the label and ingredient lists is clear. Serves a good purpose and hope they improve. I've been using this a long time so long that when me and my buddy scann Ied Jack Daniels it was verified halal :D We ed and they quickly fixed that.

I use it because its product database is comparatively bigger than other apps. But really, this app is very buggy. The most annoying thing is that after one scan, if you go back to home screen and try to scan again, the camera freezes and cannot scan at all. To the devs: Looks like the app continues to feed on the camera even though you came out of the activity. This should be fixed urgently.

The app used to work great. Before the new design more than six months ago, I rarely had any problems with the app. Then they redesigned it and the scanner doesn't work right anymore. All of my background phone notifications across the top flicker like a strobe light, the phone gets too hot, and it takes ateast 30 seconds for the picture to take, when it does, it's unfocused and can't read the barcode, so you have to try again, and again, taking several minutes for each item. Why bother.

App no longer works. Scans were just spinning and then it would ask for my preference. I uninstalled and tried to get through the initial setup but it gets stuck on selecting my preference. Custom option does not work selecting zabihah just spins for a second but doesnt move to another screen. Mar 27 2020 Thank you for fixing the app. Adjusted my score as this is the best scanner. many features of this app doesn't work. app crashes when open tutorial. custom setting isn't available anymore. I've sent info of many products that were not in their data base but they're still being processed after a year. i still am looking for any app that may have better result. I'd love to pay any amount if worth it. so, always read ingredients before you buy anything. any suspicious ingredient can be verified online.

So this app is pretty great except for one thing, selecting my dietary preferences doesn't really work. I would prefer to just be avoiding pork but it keeps resetting itself to the strictest setting when I close the app. Also sometimes the camera function glitches out and I have to open and restart the app again. Especially if I tried to pick dietary preferences..

I like the app, there are a few choices out there to distinguish halal/haram items. However, hard to get responses back from the team on emails. I can't check my previous products submitted page, it always bugs out of it. I wish I could type in the search option to find products vs them providing categories only. Inshallah God help them to develop the app further. Overall, I think its a good app considering pricing and the scanning feature. Customer doesn't work so posting here.
