Kalah, also called Kalaha or Mancala, is a game in the mancala family imported in the United States by William Julius Champion, Jr. in 1940. This game is sometimes also called "Kalahari", possibly by false etymology from the Kalahari desert in Namibia.
As the most popular and commercially available variant of mancala in the West, Kalah is also sometimes referred to as Warri or Awari, although those names more properly refer to the game Oware.

Love this addictive little game. Never experienced any glitching or problems whatsoever and I've played an embarrassing number of rounds. Easy game play, clean interface, skill levels are appropriate (easy ➡️ hard). The Ads aren't annoying or disruptive, but would definitely pay to the developers. Honestly can't fault this game at all. Thanks guys!

The only thing that I would change is I would make it easier to have a rematch with the opponent and also if your opponent quits then you get the automatic win not keep playing the bot when I play multiplayer it's because I want to play with someone and if they quit that's a forfeit loss I shouldn't have to play with a robot and waste all that time. Pay the 99 cents get rid of that annoying ad it's worth it

Pleasant UI, satisfying level of challenge, but after a while the graphics start glitching - placing the counters in the wrong positions. So you have to look at the numbers indicated, unless you've memorised every move, because what looks like two in a cup could be three or one. Instructions could be clearer but otherwise it's a good game - and reasonably priced - but I'm not paying for any app that's this buggy.

I would give negative stars if I could. The computer does not follow it's own rules. I have played mancala for years. If you land your last stone on your own side you should "capture" the pot on the opponent's side. The computer was able to "capture" it but I wasn't. That is cheating algorithm. Will not be playing any further and will not recommend to others.

Fun for a while, but single player gets too predictable, and the coin toss almost always has computer opponent going second. Once you learn to win against the computer there's nothing that the computer program strategy will change to keep games interesting. You can keep winning the same way, over and over.

Fun to play ! I've never had counters fall in the wrong place - as mentioned by others or any glitches whilst playing. I wish the toss when playing vs the computer would alternate as I seem to win the toss at least 8/10 starts. During play, I've noticed the computer rarely takes advantage of free turns when a counter is in the hole next to its mancala (makes it more advantageous for me though !) Only other comment would be I wish the play of the counters dropping was a little quicker.

The game itself is fine, I really wish there was a skip totorial option. I'm also kinda confused. The way I play moncala, is that you pick up the marbles from the chosen slot and put one in each hole, if you land on a hole that has more marbles in it, you pick those up and keep playing until you land in an empty one. Have I been playing wrong??

It's a good game, I like it. I have "lost" at least 3 games due to "connection issues". I have a good connection but somehow it kicks us both and it as "lost". Please fix that bug. The time counter sucks, if you have to play like 3 moves it can cut you off while you still playing.
