Swipewipe is the app that will (finally) help you clean up your camera roll. And you’ll enjoy reminiscing while you do it.

We'll save you the time: Yes, there are other apps that can help you quickly delete photos on your phone. But none of them worked for us!

We wanted a simple, fun, elegant solution that let us go month-by-month, work our way through all our photos, videos, screenshots, and everything else in our camera roll, and decide - one by one - what to keep and what to get rid of. That’s Swipewipe.

Here’s how it works: swipe right to keep a photo, and left to delete it. If you make a mistake or change your mind, just tap the current photo to go back. Hold down on a picture to see its metadata. After you’re done reviewing that month’s photos, take one last look at the photos you chose to keep and the ones you chose to delete, make any tweaks you need to, and then…you’re done!

Each time you finish a month, it'll be crossed out. (You can always revisit that month, though.) If you get part way through a month and want to take a break, you can quit the app - a progress wheel will appear next to that month on the main screen, showing you how much further you have to go.

If you’d rather not go month by month (or even if you do!) we think you’ll like our new On This Day feature. It sticks to the top of your Swipewipe home screen, and each day, it updates with the photos that you took on this date one year ago, two years ago, and so on. Revisit your memories on their anniversary, and swipe through to determine what you’d like to keep and what you’d like to delete. (It’s pretty fun.)

We also have:

- Bookmarks (for any pictures you want to set aside)

- A widget (and streaks!) for On This Day

- Stats that show you how many photos you’ve reviewed, how much memory you’ve saved, and more

…and we’re always adding cool new stuff!

Our camera rolls shouldn't be such a mess. You should be able to look back at the memories you've made without getting interrupted by blurry duplicates, irrelevant screenshots, and other clutter that keeps you from the good stuff. That’s why we’re making Swipewipe.

Hope you like it, and happy swiping!

It's great for cleaning photos, but the free version is really bad (rather than just having to deal with a lot of ads, it does that AND limits the amount of photos you csn delete) and the plans are $5.50 usd a week or $40 usd a year, no monthly hips. And, even if you pay for , you still get ads at the bottom of your screen Edit after developer response: Nope, at some point, you stop being able to delete the photos at all. Secondly, I GET ADS WHILE PAYING THE MONTHLY FEE

I understand the need for ads, but the amount on this app is insane. It's 1 ad per 20 swipes. I think a much better model would be pop-up ads and a time limit per month swiped (ex.: after you finish a months worth, it limits you for a few hours.) This way it's still usable while free, but still has benefits for s. Until they change how the app works, it's absolutely useless bullocks.

Paid $40 for their year subscription for it to literally not work. Still ads. Won't let me keep swiping bc the countdown is still going from the free trial even tho it says pay to keep swiping. Emailed with no response. Would love to use the service I just paid for or get my money back

this was working great but all of a sudden the had ads again. I emailed and got minimal response then no response after attempting to follow up

The app by itself is great but you need to watch video to swipe 20 times. Wanting a subscription for this kind of app is pathetic.

Great app and concept, actually really helpful as well. The layout is nice and easy, too. I never encountered any bugs. However, I ended up deleting it because I'm just not up to watching 30 seconds of ads to go through 20 pictures. I have around 300-500 photos each month, so that's like 10 minutes of ads for one month. That's just not happening, lmao. The pop-up ads here and there between photos were fine and actually didn't bother me at all. Fix your ad ratio.

Great concept for someone who takes too many photos and is trying to clean up their archive. Interface is fun and easy to use. Works for Android but... not for Google Photos, which I didn't realize until I had "deleted" hundreds of photos over a couple of days only to find they had only been deleted from my phone, not Google storage 🤦🏼 Shame on me for only reading the app info and not the FAQ, I guess. $5+ per week is also a pretty high subscription price for what this is.

Weak for a paid app. The idea is good, but it's buggy. Two problems that made me uninstall it: 1. No bulk delete possible at the end of one month. It asks for permission for each photo marked for deletion. No possibility to give this permission by default. At least not in my version of Android... 2. For months with many photo it crashes. After marked 5000 photos out of 6000, shows button "delete photos) but it does nothing. I lost 6 hours hoping it'll declutter... Fail...
