People today want to personalize their lighting experience and to do so in an instant. Casambi’s simple wireless lighting control system opens up a whole new world of possibilities in this respect. This uncomplicated yet feature-rich application enables you to seamlessly control your lighting from a smartphone or tablet. From daylight control to timed scenes, animations, and more… everything can be configured in this app. It contains everything you need for intelligent, flexible, and fully automated lighting controls. At your fingertips.
Easy Commissioning:
All Casambi-enabled products are configured and used with the Casambi app. The app’s intuitive design makes commissioning tasks so simple that they can be easily handled by nearly anyone. The pairing process is quick: The app will search for all powered Casambi-enabled devices within Bluetooth range of your mobile device.
Control your entire lighting system from one app:
Casambi provides one platform from which to control multiple components from luminaires to sensors, blinds, and more. Within the Casambi app, it is possible to create luminaire groups within a network, and then create multiple networks that can all link together. A single Casambi network can contain up to 250 devices and an endless number of networks can be created in a single site. From a single room, it is easy to upscale to building-level functionality and even expand to outdoor lighting.
Control your lights from a photo:
The app allows you to control lighting visually from a photo. Simply take a photo of the room in which the lights you wish to control are, it to the Gallery, and drag the desired control commands over the lighting fixtures within the picture. No need to which luminaire is which, you have a visual guide for decision-making ease.
Create scenes for different lighting situations:
The Scenes tab allows you to create and recall personalized lighting set-ups. One scene can control any variation of luminaires in your network, and luminaires can be used in multiple scenes. From simple lighting scenarios (such as circadian or daylight scenes) to animated and timed scenes, virtually any set-up can be configured, saved, and recalled in the app.
Share your network and allow other devices to control your lighting:
It is possible to control access rights to your lighting network and to define who interacts with it. An assigned ‘’ can make all network changes and give access rights to new s. A ‘manager’ can make changes to all lighting control functionalities but cannot get access to s or decide who can access the network. A ‘’ can only use the network but not make any changes.
If you have several s and devices using the same network, any changes made with one device will be automatically adopted across all other devices using Casambi’s cloud service.

I have never experienced any UI/UX this Great! The fact you can see the lights in a group before opening them. Amazing! I will use this as an example in the future on absolutely poor UX 🥳🥳🥳

I installed Casambi dimmers in the lights in my apartment over five years ago. I like a lot of things about the product and the app. It's great to be able to turn the lights off using my phone after I'm in bed. It's not so great to have to launch the app 2-3 times before it connects. No Alexa, no Google Home. I'm surprised the app has been updated recently because the experience is and has been consistently buggy all along. Half a decade and no noticeable changes. I'm shopping for alternatives.

Needs a widget so that I don't need to tap through 3 or so screens before I can dim my light. Timed routines are not intuitive and difficult to use. For instance I want it to automatically dim down the light at a certain time, but only if it is on! There is no way to add this if condition, so setting up a routine to take the light to the dim level at a certain time switches it on even if I am not in the room.

Switched my phone, now I can't get my luminaries into the app anymore as they're somehow still in a different network. Super clunky experience and if I didn't have a physical switch I didn't have a way to switch my lights. Updates to the firmware are also impossible now. Ridiculous software, zero documentation.

Firmware updated yesterday and now my lights are turning on at random? Even after disabling the timers the lights are still turning on on their own. What's going on? This affects all my timers regardless if Im using the sunset or actual time itself. What's the use for automation when every time there's an update and things get messed up‽ How are you going to fix this now?

Simple improvements badly needed. You should add a widget for ease of access or at least put existing luminaires on the first screen. So tedious to have to go through 3 screens every single time I want to change the lighting. Also, the lack of for Google Home and Alexa is inexcusable in this day and age.

A little buggy but good foundation. Frustrated some of the time settings are capped the way they are. Would like to see durations less than one second everywhere and fade times longer than 3secs without having to work around and use animations. Trying to set a light to flash on sensor presence for deaf people but you cant really do it very well.

Absolutely smashing it, by far the most comprehensive lighting control app for the Joe public and commercial premises to get involved with LC and take control. Does the lot, time scheduling, pir, circadian etc etc and totally BLE meaning I can stick a switch wherever I want it, no cables!
